Head of Brand & Content

At Loaf we make insanely comfy sofas, beds and homewares that help people lead happier, more relaxed lives. Founded in 2008, Loaf has steadily grown each year to become one of the leading premium furniture and homeware brands in the UK. We now have over 250 Loafers working across 10 slowrooms (stores), a Head Office in West London, and our Conversation Centre in the Midlands. It's exciting times at Loaf as we continually grow and evolve the brand and business. From expanding our product range to opening more stores, and continuing investment across marketing channels - we're an ambitious business.

Reporting to our Creative Director, we're looking for a Head of Brand and Content to help us manage and execute our brand strategy. As a custodian of the brand, you will take ownership to integrate the execution of all customer and internal content and copy across our different touch points, from marketing and stores to customer and internal engagement. If you're hungry to work in a fast-paced environment and have a desire to contribute to building an iconic British brand (with a sense of humour) this might be one for you!

Some of what the job involves:

Brand - The custodian of our brand across all customer and internal touch points

  • Execution of the overall brand experience across all our marketing channels.
  • Ensure that particular attention is paid to our Tone of Voice across external and internal communications.
  • Work closely with and influence our Product, Photography and Production teams to ensure the execution aligns with the brand.
  • Work collaboratively across all customer-facing touch points to ensure our brand shows up consistently.

Content - Execution of our content engine ("Newsdesk") to output cultural brand content to a clear critical path

  • Work with the Creative Director and wider creative team to deliver content around our already defined Brand Fascinations (music, food, sense of place etc.).
  • Own the execution of our "Newsdesk" ecosystem using photography, video, music, copy.
  • Own "Content Asset Suite" and be responsible for real-time Content Calendar.
  • Build a network of external collaborators incl. photographers, videographers & stylists.

Relationship - Optimisation of our brand values & creative assets in line with the marketing plan

  • Own and influence the creation of assets to drive marketing performance across TV, OOH, social, website, brochure and email.
  • Own brand, photography & copy guidelines whilst maintaining updates.
  • Articulate and execute brand values and Tone of Voice across all external and internal communications, including social and customer conversations.

Team - Build a culture of collaboration and co-creation

  • Manage and nurture a high performing team of designers, a studio manager and external collaborators.

You will need to:

  • Think big picture but remain meticulous in ownership of the detail.
  • Continually drive change and challenge progression, making sure the Loaf Brand remains aspirational and relevant.
  • Understand our consumer - how they are thinking and feeling.
  • Integrate and join up cross functional working culture to ensure high quality on time execution.
  • Continually develop a network of photographers, videographers, writers and other collaborators.
  • Be highly organised and collaborative.
  • Have Loaf taste and an interest in design, music, art and culture.
